Sales Representative (Remote)

Preferable Location: Des Moines   |   Full Time

Stratizant is a technology company looking for a highly motivated, energetic sales professional to join our fast-growing team and take their sales career to the next level.  Reporting to the CEO and working closely with the leadership team and team members, the Sales Representative role will perform outreach to develop a pipeline of new prospective customers.

Responsibilities 

The Sales Representative is responsible for identifying qualified prospective customers and developing interest in the products, solutions and services as identified by Stratizant Leadership.  Included in these responsibilities is a deep understanding of the problems our products, solutions and services solve, the profile of our target customers, and the competitive landscape. 

This role will leverage existing tools, relationships and develop new contacts as well as current employees to identify new prospects and develop new opportunities.  

The Sales Representative will own opportunities through the entire sales cycle.  This includes prospecting, qualifying and closing new potential customers. 


Responsibilities include the following:

  • Identify targets and key contacts through contact, account research.and create and run prospecting campaigns when appropriate
  • Become knowledgeable and continue to learn target accounts’ business and technology challenges.
  • Consistently take actions to identify new prospects through varying channels.
  • Hone and evolve an understanding of Stratizant’s value proposition.
  • Facilitate C-Level conversations and seek to meet with high level executives and decision makers at target accounts.
  • Leverage sales tools and processes to document activity, notes and other account, deal and contact level information.  
  • Work with Leadership to establish sales metrics that support securing new business and sales opportunities.
  • Frequently communicate sales strategy, pipeline status and challenges with Leadership and the broader team when appropriate.
  • Maintain data quality and confidentiality.

Skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Willingness to find and make new connections via a variety of methods:  phone, email, social media, events, etc.
  • Ability to work independently and self-motivate.
  • Ability to be creative and innovate when needed.
  • Ability to learn and a desire to continue learning

Experience 

  • Three plus years of prior work experience in sales (consulting, staffing or other IT experience is highly desirable).
  • Previous technology experience
  • Previous history of success selling into the C-Suite.
